The Dauwels lab focuses on advancing theoretical frameworks in machine learning and signal processing, particularly in recent years through the development of compositional generative models. These models break complex systems into interpretable components, enabling efficient and adaptable solutions. The lab’s work on probabilistic modeling and deep learning contributes to improved data analysis in areas like autonomous decision-making, weather and climate research, and healthcare.
Dauwels Laboratory is continuously looking for new talent. If you are passionate about scientific research and innovation, we want you to be part of our team.
Associate Professor at the Signal Processing Systems group at the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands.
